<p>KNAUER’s well-known high pressure and ultra-high pressure pumps and detectors based on AZURA® technology are now accompanied by the next generation of high precision injection and switching valves, designed to operate at pressures up to 1200 bar. This new valve series is ideal for users requiring low delay volumes and high durability and high performance.<br />
All valves include suitable fittings. Additionally, valves with two positions include an injection port for injection and the 12-port and 16-port valve include tubing for fractionation.</p>

<p>Valves are ubiquitous in all liquid chromatography applications. They act like a switch and can control the flow path of the chromatography system in various ways. Therefore, valves are indispensable for eluent selection, sample injection, column selection, and fractionation as well as any switching task. KNAUER valves are designed for a wide range of chromatographic and dosing applications. Flexibility is provided by choice of different materials and sizes as well as drivers for various software packages. Valves are driven either manually or automatically through a valve drive.<br />
All valves include suitable fittings. Additionally, valves with two positions include an injection port for injection and the 12-port and 16-port valve include tubing for fractionation.</p>

It can be used at temperatures up to 100 °C and is highly chemical resistant against almost all commonly used solvents in a pH range of 1-12,5. PEEK is potentially moderate resistant against oxidizing and reducing solvents. Therefore, following solvents should not be used: Concentrated and oxidizing acids (such as nitric acid solution, sulfuric acid), halogenated acids (such as hydrofluoric acid, hydrobromic acid) and gaseous halogens. Hydrochloric acid is approved for most applications. In addition, following solvents can have a swelling effect and may have an impact on the functionality of the built-in components: Methylene chloride, THF and DMSO in any concentration such as acetonitrile in higher concentrations. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Manual valve with 6 ports and 2 positions</p>
<p>Valves are ubiquitous in all liquid chromatography applications. They act like a switch and can control the flow path of the chromatography system in various ways. Therefore, valves are indispensable for eluent selection, sample injection, column selection, and fractionation as well as any switching task. KNAUER valves are designed for a wide range of chromatographic and dosing applications. Flexibility is provided by choice of different materials and sizes as well as drivers for various software packages. Valves are driven either manually or automatically through a valve drive.<br />
All valves include suitable fittings. Additionally, valves with two positions include an injection port for injection and the 12-port and 16-port valve include tubing for fractionation.</p>

<td><span title="PEEK is a durable and resistant plastic and, apart from stainless steel, the standard material in HPLC. It can be used at temperatures up to 100 °C and is highly chemical resistant against almost all commonly used solvents in a pH range of 1-12,5. PEEK is potentially moderate resistant against oxidizing and reducing solvents. Therefore, following solvents should not be used: Concentrated and oxidizing acids (such as nitric acid solution, sulfuric acid), halogenated acids (such as hydrofluoric acid, hydrobromic acid) and gaseous halogens. Hydrochloric acid is approved for most applications. In addition, following solvents can have a swelling effect and may have an impact on the functionality of the built-in components: Methylene chloride, THF and DMSO in any concentration such as acetonitrile in higher concentrations.
